1. Initial Appointment – Together, we’ll design and apply the perfect color tailored to enhance your lips’ natural beauty and complement your features.
2. Touch-Up Appointment (6-12 weeks later) – This follow-up session refines the shape, enhances the color, and ensures a flawless finish.
💎 Touch-ups scheduled beyond 12 weeks will incur additional fees to ensure the best results.

Arrive with clean, bare lips—no lipstick, lip gloss, or lip balm.
Avoid sweating or activities that may cause excessive perspiration.
Stay hydrated and keep lips moisturized leading up to your appointment.
Bring glasses if you wear contacts, in case your eyes become sensitive to numbing agents.

No caffeine or alcohol—these can thin the blood and affect the healing process.
Eat a well-balanced meal before your appointment to maintain energy levels.
Hydrate—drink plenty of water for optimal skin health.

Avoid blood thinners (Aspirin, Advil/Ibuprofen, Niacin, Vitamin E, Fish/Primrose Oil, Prenatal Vitamins, and “Hair, Skin, and Nail” supplements). Tylenol is OK.
Avoid excessive lip exfoliation or using harsh scrubs.

Keep your lips exfoliated and moisturized—hydrated lips help pigment absorb better.
Hydrate! Drink plenty of water to prevent dryness and flaking.
Fun fact: The first sign of dehydration appears on the lips!
No tanning— *if you arrive with sunburn or noticeable tan lines, your appointment may need to be rescheduled, and you will forfeit your scheduling fee.
If prone to cold sores, start an antiviral medication such as Valtrex, Acyclovir, or Zovirax at least 5-7 days before your appointment and continue 5 days after to prevent an outbreak.

No antibiotics—schedule any necessary antibiotics well in advance.
Get your lip waxing or hair removal around the mouth before your appointment—This helps ensure smooth skin for better pigment application.
If you have severely dry, flaky lips, gently exfoliate nightly for at least 2 weeks using a gentle lip scrub 1-2 times a week, followed by a nourishing lip treatment.

No Botox or fillers in the lip area for at least 4 weeks before your appointment. This ensures proper healing and avoids complications with the tattooing process.
Avoid exfoliation and retinol products on the lips for one month before and after.
No microdermabrasion or chemical peels (including Glycolic, Pumpkin, Alpha Hydroxy, and Salicylic Acid) for one month before and after.
Avoid laser facials (ablative and non-ablative, such as Fraxel, CO2, and IPL) around the lip area for at least 1 month before and after.

Lip implants must be done at least 6 months before your procedure.
If you’ve had surgical procedures on or around the lips, a doctor’s note is required before proceeding.

• Choose the timing wisely – Make sure you will be able to follow the aftercare instructions accurately and allow time for healing before any special events or vacations.
• No open wounds, cuts, or active irritation on the lips—appointments will need to be rescheduled if present. The Scheduling Fee will be forfeited if we have to cancel due to open wounds.
• Cold sore prevention – If you suffer from cold sores, you must take an antiviral medication like acyclovir or Zovirax for at least 5 days prior to your appointment and continue for 5 days after the procedure. Cold sore outbreaks can impact the healed results of the tattoo, so it’s highly recommended that everyone take antiviral medication.
• Moisturize your lips – Hydrating and nourishing your lips before the treatment is crucial for optimal results. Well-moisturized skin helps the pigment absorb faster.
• Exfoliate & moisturize – Please exfoliate and moisturize your lips 3-4 days prior to your appointment for the best outcome.
• Wash your hair – You’ll need to keep the lip area clean during healing, so it’s recommended to wash your hair before the appointment.
• Wear appropriate clothing – Please avoid wearing your best clothes as pigment may splatter during the procedure.
• Bring reference photos – If you have a specific shape or color in mind, please bring pictures to show your technician. Keep realistic expectations for the outcome.
